Sonic x Star Wars: Hedgehogs, Hutts + Mongooses
He walked through the empty park, walking towards the large palace ahead. The communicator rested in his gloved hand, the speedster’s gloved finger tapped the button again and the message began to replay for the fourth time in a row. ‘Meet me at the Palace...’ Her dreamy and serene voice said, ‘Don’t be late...’ Sonic smiled and put away the device. Mina was so silly if she wanted to meet with him at the park’s recreation of Jabba the Hutt’s palace. And yet, it was very strange too. While he couldn’t wait to see his girlfriend, something told him that trouble was brewing. He didn’t know why or what was going on, but his heroic instincts had kicked in and his hero senses were tingling. Eggman wasn’t causing a ruckus right now, the doctor was too busy licking his wounds after his last defeat. Sonic shrugged, he was worrying way too much, his girlfriend was just as fast as him. After all, he did train Mina with her speed powers. Slowly and cautiously, Sonic made his way to the entrance of the palace and looked around. The park was closed at this time and, usually, you’d see guards making sure the place was secure. However, there were no guards around; something was wrong. The blue speedster tapped on a security guard’s desk, no response. Sonic shrugged and walked a few more steps towards the door; a camera resembling the door guard droid popped out of a hatch and scanned Sonic. Then it went back inside, the door opened and the hedgehog walked inside the halls of the palace. The door closed behind the hedgehog, leaving him in a dimly lit structure. He observed the dimly lit surroundings, his eyes adjusted to the slight lack of light. Then, a torch lit up on Sonic’s left, followed by another on his right. Warmth swept over the hedgehog, making him feel confident. More torches lit up, illuminating the hallway ahead. His heart pounded lightly, Sonic brushed his back quills and walked through the palace, looking around for his girl. ‘Let’s hope you’re okay and didn’t get in trouble, Mina.’ Sonic thought. He walked through the hall, staying on guard in the event something came up and someone was causing problems; the intrepid speedy blue hedgehog felt as though he was being watched. After seeing that camera outside, perhaps there were more in here, watching his every move with the footage being showed in an empty security office. By this point, Star Wars World may as well be haunted. Or perhaps someone had taken over and decided to have no security guards around, to give the visitors an ominous feeling that they were being watched and alone with nobody else in the park. Sonic’s suspicions slowly began to rise; his good feelings became replaced with uncertainty. “MINA!” He called, “MINA, WHERE ARE YOU? MINA?!” ‘Mina! Mina! Mina!’ Sonic’s voice echoed. No response, was Sonic walking into a trap set up by someone who wanted him here, someone who wanted to get him? Sonic shook his head, his date with Mina was not going to be ruined. His instincts told him she was here somewhere, she probably wasn’t far. The hedgehog walked further down the corridor, he would start with the throne room, maybe she was waiting for him there, perhaps she was unharmed. But what of the dungeons; was she there, waiting in a cell for him to save her from her captors? ‘Darn it, dude. Why are we being so worried?’ Sonic thought to himself, ‘Mina will be okay, nobody’s gonna hurt her and we’re gonna be fine in the end. Jeeze, this place feels like a maze’ Sonic thought about running, but even then, he didn’t want to run into a wall or accidently overlook something. The hedgehog walked along, looking around for a sign of his girlfriend. He pushed through a curtain, slowly walking down a flight of stairs into darkness. No torches lit up the area, it was darkness and silence. While the hedgehog didn’t see any cameras, he still felt that something was watching him. That cold chill creeping up his quills told him that, someone was very close. “S-Sonic...?” A feminine voice whimpered. He wheeled around and a faint light filled the room, allowing Sonic to find the yellow mongoose waiting for him. However, she was far from okay. A leash lay around her neck, connected to a chain that attached to a nearby obelisk. The constrained Mina looked at Sonic, her frightened green eyes filled with tears, a stubby hand then appeared and yanked on the chain, making the mongoose whimper. The light brightened a little, allowing Sonic to see that his captive mongoose girlfriend was wearing none other than a golden metal bra with a red skirt and leather boots; Leia’s Slave Outfit from RETURN OF THE JEDI. Had Mina not been held hostage and it was just some cosplay she was doing; Sonic would have been impressed. “P-Please...” Mina said with a fearful sob, “Sonic… Please, h-help me.” “It looks like that might be out of the question, slave.” A voice rumbled. More lights went on, allowing Sonic to finally see Mina’s captor in full; Jabba the Hutt, in the flesh and glaring at the speedster with menacing red eyes. Sonic prepared himself for battle, he knew Jabba was bad news and seeing this guy in real life was not a pleasant sight. Part of the hedgehog hoped it was some rogue animatronic, but Jabba looked very real and, somehow or another, he’d taken Mina hostage and it was obvious the gangster was using her as bait to lure the hedgehog into a trap. Sonic looked around, keeping an eye out for other enemies. But it was all just him, Mina and Jabba. No guards, no dangerous creatures, no servants. He looked at Jabba again, ready to confront him, the hedgehog prepared for battle and Mina struggled against her leash. The mongoose gasped, her face turned blue and she stopped. That leash was choking her, Mina wasn’t looking dignified right now. “What’s your game, pal?” Sonic asked fiercely, “You’re making a grave error.” “The grave error was making my palace part of a theme park.” Jabba mused, “And the fools thought they could stop the likes of me from taking it over when I came here. Oh, this world is ripe for the taking, so many deals and so much crime to rule over. Soon, this park will be the focal point of my new criminal empire...” “And how did you get to this world?” “Some silly scientist opened a portal and I came through, oh ho, how curious I was that day I saw the portal appear as I was on my sail barge. Seeing this world, it was amusing, and we have Doctor Eggman to thank for opening the way here with his science experiments.” No sooner than he heard that nasty Hutt mention the mad doctor himself, Sonic clenched his fist with shock and fury. The doc was a crazy lunatic for sure, but learning that his nemesis went and opened a portal to the Star Wars galaxy, allowing Jabba the Hutt to come through, did not sit well with Sonic. But even without Eggman’s involvement, he had to deal with this guy before Mina’s situation got really worse and before Jabba decided to start causing more problems for this universe. “I don’t care how you got here anymore.” Sonic told Jabba, “Let Mina go.” “Oh ho!” Jabba chortled, he yanked Mina’s chain and pat her head, “I like her where I want her. She will make an excellent dancer, she’s mine... to do as I please...” “Jeeze, you’re really crazy.” Sonic groaned, “But this is my girlfriend and I am not letting you do whatever you please with her, I’m ending your antics right now and you can pack your bags, you ugly space slug.” “We shall see about that, hedgehog... Come, see if you can beat me, I await your move.” The Hutt pulled out a blaster from thin-air and fired at the hedgehog, Sonic leaped out of the way and launched into a spin-dash. He threw himself at Jabba and smacked the Hutt in the face. Jabba recoiled, surprised by the attack. He then reached into a fish bowl and pulled out a finned creature with sharp teeth; a piranha. The fish gnashed its jaws and Jabba threw the fish at Sonic. Sonic kicked the piranha, sending it back at Jabba and the fish flew into his mouth. Jabba began to cough and wheeze; he hadn’t chewed on the creature. Swallowing something you didn’t chew on was not good for one’s health, poor Jabba may have been big, but he was no different. “You’re too slo-ow!” Sonic taunted. BWOOSH! He launched himself at Jabba and hit him hard in the gut. Jabba croaked in alarm and fell off the dais he was on, then he yelped as Sonic smacked him in the face again. Jabba struggled to find the strength to fight, but he still had that unchewed piranha in his gullet. Jabba gasped and gagged, unable to breathe, his tail shook and his eyes dilated. Sonic and Mina watched as the Hutt fell over, his tongue sticking out. Then, with one last gasp, Jabba moved no more. Sonic lowered his head, relieved that Mina was safe, but regretting that it was at the cost of a life. The piranha fish squirmed its way out of the lifeless Jabba’s mouth, covered in saliva. The fish hopped helplessly on the ground, gnashing its teeth. Without real water, the fish soon became limp on the floor with no life left in it, its eyes closed shut and the creature quit gnashing its teeth. Another life gone. Sonic turned his attention to Mina and wasted no time in freeing her, he grabbed a key from under the cushion that lay upon Jabba’s throne under the pillows and unlocked the leash around Mina’s neck. The mongoose rose to her feet and threw her arms around the hedgehog in a hug, her eyes watering as she breathed a sigh of relief. “You okay there, Mina?” Sonic asked. “For someone who spent a while chained to a throne in a metal bikini...” Mina replied, “I’ll be okay, I’ve dealt with worse before and we’ve been okay in the end.” “Great.” The blue hedgehog breathed with relief and wiped some nervous sweat off his forehead, “Now let’s get out of here, maybe we could go to another theme park or maybe we could go see a movie...?” Mina eyed Sonic with a seductive smile and stroked his neck playfully. “Not yet, sweet Sonic.” She whispered, “You haven’t gotten your reward yet...” The mongoose pulled back and put her hands on her hips, Sonic looked at Mina as the mongoose then swayed her hips from side to side and then stroked his shoulder. “Sonic, do you like what you see?” Sonic’s girlfriend asked, her metallic outfit seemed to glisten with each hypnotic movement she made with her hips. Sonic grinned, “Actually, despite being held hostage by Jabba, that costume fits you nicely. I’d say you’re a pretty good Slave Leia.” Mina leaned forward and kissed Sonic on the cheek. “What a sweet compliment from a hero...” The shapely mongoose said, “You might say this is part of your reward, handsome. Would you like to... have some fun with your slave girl? I’m all yours... master.” ‘Well, this should be fun.’ Sonic thought. He sat down upon Jabba’s throne, upon the cushion, and nodded to Mina. The mongoose knelt down, snaking her arms around Sonic’s neck. The hedgehog lay back and his girlfriend crawled atop him, looking deep into the speedster’s green eyes that matched hers. Sonic placed his hands upon Mina’s hips, then folded his arms around her back and Mina leaned closer to him. Torches lit up and the scent of sweet perfume filled the room, blotting out the smell of corpses. Mina and Sonic gazed at each other, embracing one another and eager to let their hearts be one. Mina and Sonic melted into a kiss, basking in the gleam of their love as they embraced. Sonic kissed Mina harder; Mina leaned closer, laying atop the hedgehog, and kissed Sonic more deeply. Both Mobians went deeper with their kissing and, soon, the sound of two speedy Mobians making love was filling the air, bringing with it a sense of happiness. Everything felt perfect in Star Wars Land again...The End...
